How this template works:
On Sheet 1, you’ll need to add:
Title of the activity
Directions for the activity
Questions for the activity
On Sheet 2, you’ll need to add:
In Column B: all of your correct answers, starting in the cell that says “a”
Change the code in column I
Click into the first code cell, press = and then choose your first letter/number from column G – press enter when you selected it
Continue changing the letters/numbers to what you want the code to be
Before adding protections, be sure to go back to sheet 1 and make sure that everything is working correctly and that all of your correct answers work.
To add protections:
Sheet 2: Highlight all of sheet 2 and change the font color to white. You’ll also want to make the columns as wide as you can and the rows as skinny as you can. After you have done this, go to DATA → Protected Sheets and Ranges. Add a protection to all of sheet 2 and make sure to choose “show a warning”. Once you have done this, hide sheet 2.
Sheet 1: You’ll want to add protections to all of sheet 1 with the exception of the answer spaces. Go to DATA → Protected Sheets and Ranges. You’ll choose Sheet 1 and click “except certain cells”. From here, you’ll need to choose all of the answer spaces. Make sure to choose the “show a warning” at the end.

Drop-down menus in answer spaces for any multiple choice questions
On Sheet 2, you’ll need to add:
In Column C: all of your correct answers, starting in cell C16
Before adding protections, be sure to go back to sheet 1 and make sure that everything is working correctly and that all of your correct answers work.

→ the way this template works, for each question students will choose their most preferred option. This means that in a 12 question template, you will need 24 questions, as each question will have 2 potential options
How this template works:

In Column E: all of your “this or that” options need to be added in
In Column F: all of your question cards need to be added as well as the “title card” that appears before students choose a “this or that”
In Column G: all of your correct answers, starting in cell D21
